# How to book an appointment?

## Appointment Booking Form

The Appointment Booking Form module allows you to schedule meetings and consultations with your clients seamlessly without leaving your chat dashboard. It automates the scheduling process and ensures both you and your customer have all the necessary meeting details instantly.

### 📅 How to Book an Appointment

Follow these steps to schedule an appointment with a customer during an active conversation:

#### Step 1: Open the Chat Session

Navigate to your Messages module and select the active conversation with the customer who wants to book an appointment.

#### Step 2: Open the Appointment Form

On the right-side information panel or chat shortcut menu, click on the Appointment Booking Form icon to launch the scheduling widget.

#### Step 3: Fill in the Meeting Details

Enter the relevant information for the session:

* Customer Details: (Automatically populated from the active chat profile).
* Date & Time: Select the agreed-upon date and time slot for the meeting.
* Meeting Subject: Add a short title or reason for the appointment (e.g., *Product Demo*, *Consultation Call*).

#### Step 4: Configure the Meeting Link

By default, the appointment booking form is natively integrated with a Jitsi meeting link.

> 💡 Using Alternative Platforms: If you prefer to use another meeting provider (such as Zoom or Google Meet), simply create a separate meeting link from your preferred external calendar, then copy and paste that meeting link directly into our appointment booking form field.

#### Step 5: Save and Send

Click Confirm / Book Appointment. The system will automatically generate the booking confirmation and send the meeting details—including the link—directly to the customer's chat timeline.

By default, the form features a native integration with [Jitsi](https://jitsi.org/) to generate meeting links automatically. If you prefer to use an alternative platform (such as Zoom or Google Meet), simply generate a meeting link from your preferred external calendar and paste it directly into the appointment booking form.
